Located in the desert community of Winterhaven, the San Pasqual Valley Unified School District is a one campus district for grades K through 12.  The school is both an education center and a community hub for deeply engrained history of Native American tribal activities.  Completed in the Fall of 2022 the new 20,000 square foot gymnasium will, support the school’s athletic program and be used for a variety of cultural gatherings.  The building design and construction had to handle some physical challenges from unusual soil and ground water conditions, prolonged heat in the summers, and the isolation of the rural site from supply and contractor resources.
