The new Student Services Building is the focal point for the College’s Community Learning Center, which is a satellite campus for Mira Costa Community College. It was designed to welcome students of all ages and backgrounds. The Mira Costa Community College District provides classes that are transitions to fully accredited courses offered at Mira Costa’s other campuses. Construction was completed in 2021 on the 10,000 sq. ft. building which houses Admissions and Records, Counseling for students, and Testing Services. In addition, a new central gathering space for students connects with a large landscaped quad and the main classroom building. The project site was transformed with new parking and landscaping, better lighting for student safety, and improved pedestrian circulation. The quad also doubles as an assembly space for graduations and college social events.
